Marcus Hornung is a creative mind and collector of everything beautiful. Driven by passion and a sense of quality he founded Selected Items in 2017.
His many years of experience with vintage pieces, design objects and artwork from the 1920s until today, has made him what he is today: a well-known collector of lover’s pieces who never misses to do his research leading him to the truths about designers, artworks and the ugly face of the industry.

We believe every piece should remain its beautiful patina while getting the best out of it through restoration that follows the highest standards possible.
This fine line requires years of experience and an eye with love for details. But done right, this is what gives a vintage piece the potential to become be a lover’s piece forever.
If there is a part missing, we try to replace it through the original produced by the manufacturer. Otherwise our skilled restorers replicate it in the most delicate way.
Full service + trust
Once an item is sold, Selected Items arranges the shipping from our headquarters to you. When you receive your purchase, you have 14 days to let us know if you want to return it. This gives you the chance to confirm that your purchase is as described online.
Our return rate is less than 1% (versus an industry average of 10%+), so this symbiotic approach works for our community. We strive to provide the smoothest service and avoid returns whenever possible.
