The chairs were purchased by the first owner in 1987.

The grey lacquered metal frame shows signs of age and use, with partial color imperfections. The seat cushion has been repostered and reupholstered with an exclusive Hermès fabric.

Amarrage co. M04 cobalt

The legendary "Chaîne d'Ancre" motif is playfully repeated in a regular sequence of chain links and strives for the abstract. The strong, dynamic graphic style, whose effect on the printed cotton satin is enhanced by the bold colors, allows the object to fade into the background.

100% cotton

From 2011 to October 2020, Dedar was a partner of Hermès in the production and distribution of upholstery fabric collections. Hermès upholstery fabrics are no longer available.

The chair is an absolute eye-catcher and cannot be found a second time in this combination.
